A voice for the unheard, a fighter for the unseen — Lea Jabre turns pain into purpose.

In a world where voices often fade in the noise of chaos, Lea Jabre stands out — calm, steady, and resilient. Her journey is not one of overnight fame, but of unwavering perseverance and heart. From her early days as a journalist to becoming a political consultant and later a nonprofit leader, Lea’s path has been carved with courage, conviction, and compassion.

“I started as a journalist,” Lea recalls, “and then moved into political consulting. My fascination with history and current affairs, especially in the MENA region, stemmed from my roots — I’m part Lebanese — and my love for storytelling.” It was in 2010 that her professional journey began, followed by a deeper dive in 2012 when she found herself consulting in political spheres.

But life, as it often does, had a larger plan for her. A battle with rare autoimmune diseases redirected her path toward something more profound — advocacy and healing. “I ended up working in the nonprofit sector as a director,” she explains. “Then I created Bent Not Broken, an advocacy page for my rare disease. My goal was to raise awareness, build a community, and offer hope to those who feel unseen.”

Her platform, @bent_not_broken_autoimmune, isn’t just an Instagram page — it’s a lifeline for countless individuals navigating similar struggles. Through open conversations, resources, and emotional support, Lea has turned her challenges into a mission to educate and empower others. “I’m bent, but not broken,” she says firmly. “My life has a different meaning today.”

Alongside her advocacy, Lea co-founded a nonprofit organization with her best friend, launching later this year, aimed at supporting neglected children — another cause close to her heart. Her compassion and commitment to making a difference stem from deeply personal experiences — surviving near-death situations and finding meaning in the fight for life. “Experiences, my journey, how far I’ve come — that’s what motivates me,” she says. “Every day is a victory.”

When asked how she chooses her projects, Lea’s answer reflects the purity of her purpose: “What speaks to my heart, what drives me, what motivates me.” For her, success isn’t measured in fame or financial milestones. “Success has a personal meaning to everyone,” she explains. “For me, it’s accomplishing projects I’m passionate about. It’s not about money — it’s about impact.”

One of her proudest achievements so far is the growth of Bent Not Broken — not only as a platform but as a community that uplifts others. “My YouTube podcasts are another milestone,” she smiles. “And my book — I hope one day it will be published.” The book, like her journey, embodies resilience — it’s about transformation, pain, healing, and hope.

Looking ahead, Lea’s ambitions are global. She dreams of expanding Bent Not Broken into a global patient resource platform that connects, educates, and advocates for people living with chronic and rare diseases worldwide. It’s an ambitious goal — but then again, ambition has always been her silent strength.

Lea Jabre’s story reminds us that sometimes the strongest voices are born from the quietest pain. She represents those who choose to rebuild themselves from the ashes — not with bitterness, but with grace. Her journey is a testament to human resilience — that even when life bends you, it can never truly break you.
